The Wedding
This slide is a collection of images documenting the performance, “The Wedding.” “The Wedding” was in collaboration with Antoine Alary. From a joke between the two of us, we decided we would stage an elaborate wedding, in which he would be the bride and I the husband.
The performance actually spanned several months, beginning with a casual Facebook relationship and ending with the best wedding reception I’ve yet to attend.
Between these months, I planned and executed a heartfelt proposal at a Britney Spears club night, a bachelor’s party complete with fireworks, and a successful protest to Prop 8, which was on the ballot at the time.
